I started my teaching career 21 years ago at MLK where I taught Family Life for two years. My journey at Merced City School District where I taught Cooking at Tenaya Middle School for 11 years. In 2012 I returned to Madera Unified School District and accepted a position at Madera South.  At Madera South, I taught Culinary 1 and Culinary 2, established the Stallion Cafe and Catering, and served as the FCCLA Advisor. Â
My favorite subject in High School was my sewing classes. This led me to be a Home Economics Major at CSU Fresno where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree and Teaching Credential. My passion is cooking. I am constantly trying new recipes that I share not only with my family and friends but with my students.
Madera Unified is where students are challenged to broaden their vision, inspired by meaningful opportunities and strive for authentic achievements.
