About Me

Growing up I had many different people that inspired me to become an educator. My mom always encouraged me to work hard in school so I could go to college and earn a degree. As a student, I was very blessed to have teachers that impacted my life and cared about my future. It was my sixth-grade teacher that inspired me to go into teaching. It was through her kindness that I felt like I belonged in her classroom, and then I knew I wanted to do the same for others. I graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in English and a Preliminary Teaching Credential. I have worked with many wonderful educators in Madera Unified that have helped me grow into the teacher I am today, and I am proud to say that I continue to learn daily from my peers and students.
