Hi, I’m Ms. Avila! I was born and raised in Madera, CA. I graduated from Madera South High School but would’ve been a Torres Toro if it was built 15 years sooner. I earned a Bachelors in History Degree from Fresno State and went on to receive my Social Science Credential shortly after. I coached Cheer and Dance at Madera South for 8 years, and taught World History & AVID there for 2 years. I am passionate about building relationships with all of my students in hopes to make any type of impact on their lives. On my days off, I love to spend time with my friends eating, laughing, and catching up on each other’s crazy lives. The best advice I have ever received was self taught and that’s that “time means nothing, but timing is everything!” It reminds me that all good things will come when they’re meant to, no matter how long it takes.
El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Madera es donde los estudiantes tienen el desafío de ampliar su visión, inspirados por oportunidades significativas y luchar por logros auténticos.
