February has been officially designated as Black History Month by every US President since 1976. We celebrate the achievements of African Americans and the significant contributions they have made throughout our nation’s history. We must also reflect on our ongoing struggles to achieve racial equity and justice, to eliminate systemic racism, and to forge a path forward together.
