About Me

The best piece of advice I have ever been given is to always push forward no matter how hard or difficult it may be. 

The values that drive me are family, friends, education, and work. My family is the most important aspect of my life. I am trying to further my education to get my Doctoral degree. The second your kids walk into my classroom, they are my kids too. I will protect, educate, guide, and help them succeed, the same I would do for my own son.

I am passionate about English. I wasn’t always an English major. I changed paths in my second year of college. I fell in love with English because I learned so much about different cultures and texts that I never knew about. My goal is to get the students to fall in love with English and the texts that can resemble aspects of their lives.
