About Me

I am very fortunate to come back to the community that saw me grow both professionally and as an individual. I am ready to support, educate and empower our future generations. Being a first-generation indigenous college graduate is not easy but it is possible to accomplish. Proud to be a Fresno State Graduate with my Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and then completing my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from National University was possible because I had the support of my family, husband, and students. In my free time, you can find me either on a bike, trail, or eating something new and delicious. I am looking forward to being the best support that I can be for the students I serve as well as this amazing community.  Please, “Realize that if a door closes, it’s because what was behind it wasn’t meant for you”  —Mandy Hale.
