I grew up in Easton, a small farming community about 30 miles south of Madera. During my K-12 years, I was highly involved in school activities and sports, playing Volleyball and Softball as well as being the Rally Commissioner in ASB. I completed my Masters in Educational Counseling, with a P.P.S. Credential, at Fresno Pacific University. I started my career journey first as a Social Worker For Aspira, then was a counselor in Central Unified for 2 ½ years. I then transitioned to Fresno High school where I spent 10 years. For the past 2 years, I had the wonderful opportunity to work at Madera South High School and now I am absolutely thrilled and fortunate to be part of the Toro Nation! I adore my family and love my dogs. I want to make a difference in every student’s life, helping them reach their dreams and goals. A beautiful quote that I strive to live by is to, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” — Mahatma Gandhi.
Madera Unified is where students are challenged to broaden their vision, inspired by meaningful opportunities and strive for authentic achievements.
