About Me

This is Mr. Richardson’s 30th year in education; the 7th in the Madera Unified School District. Prior to his assignment at Matilda Torres H.S., Mr. Richardson has taught, coached and led administrative teams in a variety of settings from elementary through the university level.  Mr. Richardson is a native of the South Valley growing up in Selma, CA. A proud Bulldog and Sunbird, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and teaching credential from CSU Fresno, and his Masters of Arts in Education and Administrative Services credential from Fresno Pacific University. Mr. Richardson is passionate about teaching science (especially anatomy and physiology of the human body) and values the saying, “Be who you are and be that well” to inspire students to have confidence in themselves. In his spare time, he likes to run, watch his daughters perform in local theater and choir, and spend time with his family.
