I started my teaching career 21 years ago at MLK where I taught Family Life for two years. My journey at Merced City School District where I taught Cooking at Tenaya Middle School for 11 years. In 2012 I returned to Madera Unified School District and accepted a position at Madera South. At Madera South, I taught Culinary 1 and Culinary 2, established the Stallion Cafe and Catering, and served as the FCCLA Advisor.
My favorite subject in High School was my sewing classes. This led me to be a Home Economics Major at CSU Fresno where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree and Teaching Credential. My passion is cooking. I am constantly trying new recipes that I share not only with my family and friends but with my students.
