About Me

I am a proud Madera native. After graduating from Madera High School I attended UC Berkeley and received my Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science and I then returned to the Central Valley to attain my teaching credential at CSU Fresno. I have taught Chemistry for five years at Madera South. All throughout high school I had amazing science teachers who inspired my love for science and I hope that as a teacher that I am also creating positive experiences that will also inspire my students to make a positive change in their community.  If I am not working then I am usually in the kitchen cooking vegan recipes with my husband, or eating new foods at restaurants with friends and family.
